The Shelf Pin
The Shelf Pin is inserted into the Side Partition already installed. There are a set of 5 holes that can be used to locate a shelf. Insert four shelf pins in each set of holes on the side partition so that the shelf can rest on the pin. The Shelf has a recess grooved out so when the pin is fully inserted into the side partition, the shelf pin nests within the shelf so that the shelf does not move forward. -
Short Wooden Dowel - Half-Moon Supporting Brace
The top Disk and the Bottom Disk receive the Short Wooden Dowel that attaches the Half-Moon Supporting Brace to the Half-Moons. The Long Wooden Dowel goes through the Middle Disk to fasten to the Upper and Lower Half-Moon Supporting Braces. There will be two Half-Moon Supporting Braces meeting at the Middle Disk, where the Long Wooden Dowel will be used. A part of the dowel is used to fasten the upper Half-Moon Supporting Brace, and a part of the dowel is used to fasten the lower Half-Moon Supporting Brace. -
Short Wooden Dowel - Half-Moon Shelves
The Short Wooden Dowel is used to fasten the Vertical Half of the Upper and Lower Half-Moon Supporting Brace to the Half-Moon Shelves. The short wooden dowel is inserted into the Half-Moon shelf and then the Half-Moon Supporting Brace is attached to the Half-Moon Shelves. -
Lockdowel Fastener Use - All Parts except the parts that use the Wooden Dowel Fasteners
The Green patent pending Lockdowel fasteners are the unique "No-See" fasteners that discontinues the use of nails, screws, brads and glue to assemble wooden furniture. The green fastener is already attached to the parts in a precise engineered location to the parts and a corresponding "Key-Hole" slot is located on the receiving part. The part with the Green Lockdowel fastener is placed so that the Green Lockdowel fastener is inserted into the receiving part. Please note the direction of the narrow part of the "Key-Hole" slot on the receiving part before the insertion of the fastener into the receiving part. Once the Lockdowel fastener is firmly into the receiving part, slide the part towards the narrow part of the "Key-Hole" slot. Firm pressure or a few taps with a rubber mallet may be required to slide it all the way in. As the parts have been precisely engineered to work at the locations of their placements, forcing the Lockdowel fastener further than its normal travel path will start to damage the part you are trying to force to travel further. Disassembly of the Lockdowel Fasteners is simply sliding the part in the opposite direction and removing the part from its assembled position. This is helpful if you need to dis-assemble and re-assemble the unit at a future date.
